The Kentucky KM-161 A-model offers a big, sweet tone and fast, easy playing action. The KM-161 mandolin has a solid, hand-carved and graduated spruce top for the best tone and volume and solid, hand-carved flamed maple back and sides. Quick and accurate tuning is assured by the Gotoh tuners and the "Snakehead" rosewood peghead overlay is garnished with inlaid "Kentucky" script in pearl. Other features include an elevated 20-fret fingerboard, F-Style sound holes, and a one-piece maple neck with dovetail neckbody joint at the 12th fret.
